Research areas

  • Exploration of the potential of sustainable resource use in agroecosystems and developement of rural areas dominated by arable, cattle or mixed farming systems (farm, landscape and regional scales).
  • Analysis of interactions between ecological and social parts of agroecosystems.
  • Combining scientific modelling and software engineering to enable 'serious play': interactive development of valid and useful models through prototyping.
